Born in 1951, Kanagawa
Working primarily with porcelain clay, KAWAGUCHI Jun creates unique sculptural forms decorated with freely expressive overglaze enamels and gold. His modern, pop-inspired vessels transcend conventional notions of tradition. They are glamorous, charming, and filled with a playful, toy-box-like appeal.
