Born in 1951, Yamaguchi
MIWA Kazuhiko is a Hagi ware ceramic artist, and the son of Living National Treasure Miwa Kyusetsu XI (Now named Jusetsu). His striking sculptural works have drawn significant attention from ceramic collectors, and he is regarded as one of the leading figures in contemporary Japanese ceramics.
A cylindrical ceramic cup in white, elevated on three gold-toned legs inspired by ancient forms. Natural firing marks and slight irregularities highlight its handmade character.
