TAKAHASHI Yoshihiko
Glass Artisan
Born in 1958, Tokyo
After studying in Rheinbach, Germany, TAKAHASHI Yoshihiko established his own studio upon returning to Japan. Through original explorations of form, texture, technique, and balance, he creates highly distinctive works. He is widely recognized both in Japan and internationally as a leading contemporary glass artisan.
This glass cup is defined by its smooth, continuous form. The edges are gently rounded, creating a soft transition throughout. The double-layered structure allows a subtle view through the outer surface, enhancing the depth of the liquid inside.
